This was the earliest we got up for one of our day trips.

Our arrival into Tanger
Now you know how to write McDonalds in Arabic
We arrived into Tanger and were taken on a bus tour through the town.
Our guide Hassan told us about the houses and housing areas in Tanger.
Our first "stop" was a camel ride, Bob was the only one to get on.

Marilou had her first sales experience of the day.

After the bus tour, we had a walking tour of the casbah, which is the city central.  We had our guide who led us and another gentleman who brought up the rear and made sure Bob, Suzanne and Marilou didn't get lost.  We even had a policeman mixed in with our group.
One of our stops overlooked the sea
This is where we ate lunch.  It was actually two hours earlier in Tanger, so it was 1 p.m. in Spain, but 11 a.m. in Tanger.  This meant the restaurant was open just for the tour group.

and YEAH, it was a coke house.

Most of the time the girls followed Hassan and asked him questions.

When it was time to go, our bus took us back to the ferry.
These are some views of Tanger from the ferry while we were leaving.
This is the Pillars of Hercules.  They sit right across the Straight of Gibraltar from the Rock of Gibraltar.
